The new owner of Burt Munro's original motorcycle trailer would like to see it returned to Invercargill where he says it belongs.
Terry Dalton, who lives in Christchurch, stumbled across the find on the internet auction site eBay and successfully brought the 1960s trailer back into the country last month.
He says for more than 30 years it had been in the backyard of a retired couple who used to run the Indian Motorcycle company in California.
